Double British Comedy Award Winner, Co-writer and Star of Phoenix Nights Dave Spikey will appear at Warrington Parr Hall on Saturday 17th May 2008.
Dave is back on the road, with a long awaited brand new live show – The previous tour shows; 'Overnight Success' (2003) and 'Living The Dream' (2005) were met with great critical acclaim earning him a 'Performance of The Year' Award and a 'Best Comedy Performance' Award.
Since he last toured, the award-winning comedian has clocked up appearances on the legendary 'Parkinson' and performed alongside a star studded line-up before Her Majesty the Queen on the prestigious 'Royal Variety Performance'.
He's also appeared as Team Captain alongside Jimmy Carr and Sean Lock in four hit series of Ch4's '8 out of 10 Cats', and hosted 30 shows of classic game show 'Bullseye'. He won 'Celebrity Mastermind' and appeared as a celebrity judge on a series of BBC 1's Saturday night variety talent show 'When Will I Be
Famous?' alongside Max Clifford and Graham Norton.
In this new show, Dave tackles the old adage "Laughter is the Best Medicine". It was his dad's favourite saying; which is why when Dave was six, he nearly died with diphtheria.
