Enjoy performances by the Victoria Brass Band and some tasty cream teas.
Horbury Library will be celebrating the great outdoors this summer with its own reading garden as part of the National Year of Reading.
The Secret Garden Summer Party will be held at Horbury Library where the public can enjoy performances by the Victoria Brass Band and some tasty cream teas.
The event is also an opening celebration of the library's Secret Garden which was created after the Friends of Horbury Library, in partnership with Wakefield Libraries, secured a grant of £4,350 from the BBC Breathing Places to develop the story-telling garden at the side of the library.
