KIDS COME FIRST Childcare Day Nursery located close to the city centre, in Walter Road, Swansea have been established since 1997. This day nursery, registered for 49 children per day, is re-designed and refurbished to a very high standard, in accordance with the C.S.I.W (Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales). They are also members of the Wales Pre-School Playgroups Association.
KIDS COME FIRST Childcare Day Nursery provides high quality childcare in a warm, bright, happy environment for children from birth to 8 years. They can also provide places for children with special needs.
All the staff at the nursery are carefully hand picked for their individual experience, qualifications and dedication to childcare. They maintain a high ratio of staff to children so that each child receives maximum attention. The staff regularly attend training sessions and have three NVQ assessors based at the nursery who assess on a regular basis. The day nursery staff are also qualified in first aid.
KIDS COME FIRST Childcare Day Nursery Swansea is open 52 weeks of the year providing flexible childcare offering part or full time places to help working parents. Importantly, they will also arrange to pick up and drop off from local schools.

The nursery has a spacious well-equipped kitchen where their Cook prepares meals daily using only the freshest ingredients. They provide mid morning breaks, hot two-course lunches and afternoon tea. They are also happy to prepare milk feeds for babies if parents so wish and can provide alternative menus for vegetarian or special diets.
KIDS COME FIRST Day Nursery believe that continuity of childcare is of paramount importance. Each child has a development record which enables the staff to assess, review and update activities according to each child’s individual progress. They believe that communication with parents is of the utmost importance and at the end of each day, each parent will be seen individually and given verbal information regarding their child.
