I'm not sure everyone knows just how big the London Borough of Sutton actually is. It's quite a round/oval shape and goes from Worcester Park up in the top left, right down to Beddington and within yards of the Purley Way at the bottom right.

Just to introduce myself, my name is John Blagden and I am the franchise owner of thebestofsutton - one of over 350 thebestof franchises around the UK and Eire, we champion local businesses in a unique, 3-dimentional way.
Unlike other web directories we don't stop with a simple listing of a businesses name, address and phone number, we have a 400-word description of what they do, and give local people the opportunity to write testimonials for them. We actively go out and bring in business member and non-members with our regular networking events, and get heavily involved in Sutton business and cultural life by our membership of the Sutton Chamber of Commerce.
I have been running thebestofsutton since thebestof started nearly three years ago, and we've now launched this blog to give local people a voice on things that matter to them.
