Restored
Of all the public houses in Stamford, The Millstone Inn is one of the town's oldest and historically most popular pub and restaurant. After years of neglect, it has been beautifully restored revealing some of its natural features and hidden secrets. These include the millstone from which the pub takes its name, which anchors one of the ancient oak beams supporting the bar.
Beer Garden
A significant feature of the restored pub is the large beer garden to the rear of the inn, offering outside dining and drinking in a relaxed environment a few steps from the main commercial centre and the River Welland with its Meadows park area. It has its own bar for customer’s convenience, and is one of the largest and most attractive beer gardens of all Stamford’s pubs.
