West Lancs Festival of Transport – CANCELLED

West Lancs MG Owners Club has had to take the disappointing decision to cancel this weekend’s Festival of Transport due to be held at the Leisure Lakes, Mere Brow on Sunday 7^th September. The showground is waterlogged and with more heavy rain forecast over the next two days the situation will only get worse.

The Classic Car Run around the lanes of West Lancashire will still take place. Those who are already booked on the run are asked to turn up as usual. Cars will be leaving from the Leisure Lakes from 8am onwards on Sunday morning.

The club regrets having to cancel this event after having had eight successful years on the run. They would like to thank all of those who have supported the show in the past, whether as an exhibitor or as a visitor to the show, and look forward to seeing you all next year when they hope to continue their support of local charities such as Derian House Children’s Hospice and Queenscourt Hospice.
