An evening full of nostalgia at the Southport Theatre
Do you fondly remember the time when songs had words you could sing or whistle along to? When it took 5 minutes to warm up the telly ? or you never had to lock your front door ? Well if you do then there is just the perfect entertainment lined up for you!

Promising a wonderful feel good afternoon guaranteed to get you smiling & singing. It features many magical musical memories from the 40’s 50’s & early 60’s. With a whole host of songs made famous by the likes of Doris Day, Bing Crosby, Julie Andrews, Max Bygraves, Vera Lynn, Frank Sinatra and many more.
The show is produced by Neil Sands, the former British Heavyweight wrestling star who is better known to theatre audiences for his country music show Nashville Nights and Dixie Days. “I have been planning this show for some time, as I had always wanted to produce a show filled with happy memories and I guess that as I reached my 60th year thought the time was right. There are so many wonderful songs to pick from and the audience response to the show has been truly amazing.”.
Neil will be joined in the show by two very talented young ladies with West End musical experience, both Gemma Turner & Angie Diggens, have outstanding voices, and great personalities. With some wonderful choreographed routines, stunning costumes and musical backing by the Golden Days Trio, this show really does offer two hours of music, memories, nostalgia and good old fashioned fun.
