Unique Treble present Victoria Hart, supported by Jade Gallagher at the southport Theatre
One of the highlights of the 2008 Southport Jazz Festival, don't miss Victoria Hart at the newly refurbished Southport Theatre & Convention Centre.
Sunday 1st June 7.30pm
She was ‘The jazz singing waitress’ who wowed George Clooney, Brad Pitt and other A-list stars on board a yacht in Cannes in May 2007. .
Following all the media excitement Victoria Hart released her debut album Whatever Happened To Romance later that year to great reviews both in the UK and the USA. Blonde, pretty and ultra-feminine, Victoria’s musicality and natural nonchalance suggests she is the perfect female answer to artists like Michael Bublé.
She interprets swing, jazz and blues material in many different ways making her a unique artist who defies genres. She is retro yet modern; she sings the classics as well as her own original pop songs.
It has been a truly exciting 6 months for the 19-year old, taking her from waiting tables to entertaining A-listers.
Immediately following Cannes, Victoria flew back to record Friday Night Is Music Night with the BBC Orchestra and a raft of radio and TV programmes including GMTV, BBC News, ITN News, Loose Women, The Clothes Show and a quick visit to New York for a live performance on the Today Show.
Virgin Atlantic, enchanted by Hart’s story and music, played songs from her debut album to welcome passengers on board their aircraft around the world.
