The Turbine offers a wide choice of conference facilities including meeting rooms, numerous offices and a fully equipped conference room.
The Turbine’s conference facilities are ideal for exhibitions, training sessions, board meetings, sales presentations and interviews. Confidential areas are also available where you can meet customers, suppliers, agents and colleagues.
The Conference Room
(approx 700 sq.ft./65 esq.)
- The Conference room can take up to 60 people seated in a theatre-style, up to 20 people boardroom style or 30 people in ‘U’ shape (tables and chairs).
- Partitioning enables the room to be extended into the foyer creating extra space should it be required.
- The conference room is equipped with:
- State-of-the-art audio visual equipment
- Touch screen controls for lighting and AV equipment
- Back projection onto purpose-built screen
- Built in computer with live internet
- Connection for laptops
- Built-in video and DVD player
- Full audio system
- A flip chart and overhead projector are also available.
Use of this equipment is included in the hire charge of the Conference Room.
Hire costs: £200 per day (£120 per half day; £50 up to 2 hours). Costs include the use of the Foyer if required.
Note: VAT is payable on all room hire charges.
Meeting Rooms
(from 140 sq.ft./13 esq.)
The various meeting rooms are available for numbers between 2 to a maximum of 100 people.
All of the meeting rooms have the use of:
- Flip charts
- OHP
- Data projectors
These rooms do not have built-in audio visual equipment.
Use of this equipment is included in the hire charge of the rooms.
Hire costs: between £50 and £100 per day (£30 to £60 per half day) depending on size.
Note: VAT is payable on all room hire charges.
Catering
Catering and refreshments can be provided for your conference or meeting by the in-house Café if it is required. Both delicious cold finger and hot fork buffets can be served together with refreshments, or if it is a smaller meeting delegates can visit the Café to purchase their individual refreshments and relax in the open, airy surroundings.
Car Parking
The Turbine are in the enviable position of being able to provide generous, free car parking at the front and rear of the conference facilities. CCTV security cameras cover both car parks, the front and rear of the building as well as the conference facilities.
