Marking this year’s summer show, BBC Gardeners’ World Live has relaunched its local wheelbarrow design competition, inviting children from selected schools across the West Midlands.
Returning to the NEC for four days of outstanding garden and food displays, demonstrations and much more, BBC Gardeners’ World Live and BBC Good Food Show Summer will take place in Birmingham from 15 – 18 June 2023.

Children enjoyed activities with Aspiring Futures last week, just one of hundreds of events offered by Yo! Wolves to keep young people occupied and entertained during the half-term holidays.
We are excited to announce the opening event of Friday Lates’ programme with ‘Your City, Your Story’ taking place on Friday, June 30 from 6pm to 9pm at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Birmingham Phoenix bowler, Abtaha Maqsood, has paid a special visit to a local Leigh Trust school to host a hands-on cricket session and encourage young people to pick up a bat and ball this summer.
Children and young people enjoyed a wide range of free activities with Strive Events throughout the May half-term holidays thanks to the Yo! Wolves holiday programme.

A unique part fictional play - the Plastic Migrant - is being staged at Great Wyrely High School over 3 days: 29th June, 30th June and the 1st July (Saturday) 2023 at 7.00pm. On the Saturday there will also be a matinee at 2pm.
