Young patient Harry Tansley, who was airlifted by Devon Air Ambulance two years ago will feature with the Charity in prime time morning BBC series.
At Christmas back in 2016, young Harry was enjoying the festive break scooting along Exmouth seafront with his dad, older brother and a friend, when he lost his balance on his scooter and fell, hitting his throat against the handle bar.

What do zoo gardeners get each other for Christmas? A plant, of course – but not just any old plant. Gardeners at Paignton Zoo in Devon have given their colleagues at Marwell Zoo in Hampshire a Titan arum – one of the largest and smelliest plants in the world.
The League of Friends in Newton Abbot Community Hospital kindly donated an amazing £3790 to local charity BASICS Devon to purchase 2 x capnotrue monitors, a vital piece of emergency medical equipment for their volunteer responders.

Pete is the Environmental Officer for the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust, the charity that runs Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, Living Coasts in Torquay and Newquay Zoo in Cornwall.

Local charity BASICS Devon, with the help of Webselect Internet, have launched a new website to help promote their volunteer emergency services and training.
The new website will connect people to resources to understand what BASICS Devon do, to get involved to support them, but more importantly to access training that could one day help save a life.
