Wastesavers is a Third Sector Social Enterprise running award winning kerbside recycling services for Newport City Council. We also operate commercial recycling services for more than 300 businesses across South East Wales; provide IT recycling and run education programmes.
We aim to provide a safe environment for people to hold discussions about problems in day to day life, with facilitators to guide the sessions in a constructive direction to help learning emerge and personal development to begin. We also aim to provide, when possible, one to one counselling when it's more appropriate
We broadcast a variety of live radio programmes prepared by our volunteer presenters, providing a variety of music and live radio programmes that caters for a broad range of tastes. Voice of Wales works by being a mutually supportive co-coaching group - we all help one another improve our speaking and leadership skills through a structured programme which develops a wide range of skills in speaking, presentation and leadership.
Constructive feedback is encouraged and welcomed. Everything we do is evaluated, which helps us understand how we impact on others - in a friendly and supportive way.
I've now attended 2 Toastmasters events. I was given a very warm welcome and had lots fun. I can highly recommend if you are looking to build on your public speaking skills.

A stunning mansion house on the edge of Newport. Managed and maintained by the National Trust, you can tour the house and gardens, explore the parklands or stop off for a cup of tea or coffee in the tea rooms.
A very interesting Manor once owned by the Morgan family of Morgan's Rum fame. The house is a joy to wander around with it's wonderful period decor and knowledgeable staff. The grounds are also a real treat to explore, especially on a summers day with an ice cream. My family and I usually start off in the cafe for lunch and spend the rest of the day soaking up history.

The club has its main ground based at Coleg Gwent Pontypool Campus. Situated on Blaendare Road, Upper Race, with picturesque views overlooking the town of Pontypool and surrounding area. The ground is fully enclosed by railings with both Home & Away Dugouts.

The South Atlantic Medal was awarded to British military personnel and civilians for their service in The Falklands War.
Issued to nearly 30,000 people, the medal is a coin struck by the Royal Mint and issued by the Army Medal Office, and was only given to those who completed at least one full day's service in the Falklands or South Georgia, or 30 days in the operational zone including Ascension Island.
In 1982, The South Atlantic Medal Association 1982 was formed in order to maintain and promote a sense of pride and comradeship among all veterans of the South Atlantic campaign, and to re-establish and strengthen links with the people of the Falkland Islands.
The South Atlantic Medal Association 1982 rely completely on donations and volunteers.
