Big Wigs Challenge 2011
The Big Wigs Challenge is all about taking a £50.00 note and making it grow as much as possible over a four month timeframe (Oct 1st - Feb 1st), giving the raised amount back to Sue Ryder at the end of the Challenge period.
Bicester Carnival is a fabulous, lively and colourful event with floats, stalls and more on offer. Entries to this years event are being taken until Friday, 6th May.
It is not too late to liven up your Friday night with great local, live music in support of Bicester Vet's Cancer Dogs.
Based in West Wycombe, and with a lot of supporters living in and around Henley, the Hope Foundation helps street children in Calcutta to get their lives on track and also helps to prevent children from becoming street children in the first place.
Sobell House Hospice joined forces with Witney Motor Club with an endurance race to help raise funds.
Bicester's annual Santa Fun Run is a great event held on Sunday 5th December, starting in Pingle Field at 10.30am. If you are not taking part be sure to come and support the 100's of Santa's running for charity.

The Ultimate Hair Show on 11th October at Bicester Community College will be a fabulous night out and for a great cause - Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Abingdon turns pink on 9 October this year, when the Abingdon Action Group hold their annual Splash of Pink Day. It's Abingdon's chance to raise vital funds for Against Breast Cancer and raise awareness of the disease.
