My bridal rooms where miles apart from the rest of my bridal party and the reception did not want to help I had to ask to be down graded a room when I had paid for a club just so I could near my bridesmaids for my wedding photography on the morning of wedding the stress I was caused for my first 3 hrs on arrival was a joke , it is clear that this hotel does not want to know unless you are getting married there you are not priority to them

Eat in both the pub and restaurant, staff friendly and accommodating.
Bathroom floor can get a bit slippery when getting out of the shower
Light from the hall can be annoying - used a pillow to block this out!

On entry we were greeted by a digital check in. Not really my thing so I was grateful when a lovely member of staff checked us in and got us sorted with directions to our room. Thankfully only on the first floor as lift in reception was out of order. Our room was fab. Bright and airy. Very modern. We'd paid for the upgrade and certainly feel it was worth it. The bed was really high, comfy but high and the tv was fab. We are novices when using the Tassimo machine and after several attempts to figure it out we gave up. We made full use of the spa and felt the facilities were good. We couldn't find any wet kit bags or a costume dryer which we've found useful in other hotels. For food we headed to the Waterfold pub across the car park and we weren't disappointed. Great food at a good price. Fantastic cakes. We didn't hear any hotel noise at all even though there was a wedding and large groups around the hotel. We slept well and loved the air machine in the room. Breakfast was a short wait and a good spread for a help yourself. Food was very tasty and staff were courteous and polite. Back to room to check out. A fab stay for our anniversary. We spoke with Ashley on reception who was great at sorting out an error on our receipt. Fab customer service - much better than digital.

New booking system is a pain. I've been waiting 45 minutes on my arrival to resolve issues around the system, which showed no room availability. Other then that everything is superb: staff friendly and helpful, hotel clean, food delicious. Recommend

The hotel and rooms were clean, staff were very friendly, food was lovely, I am sorry I didn't et to the spa and pool, but it looked great from the balcony view. We didn't venture far away from the hotel, as we were attending a wedding, and we then stayed for a second day and night

A spotless and stylish room with everything you might need. We enjoyed the restaurant meal on the first night and the breakfast was excellent in the morning. The pool is large and airy.
I would recommend for couples but I would be happy to come back with the children too.

Enjoyed a two night break, upgraded to a club room. Very comfortable bed but didn't have all sky channels that I thought were included. Drinks are expensive in the pub and we ate in the pub and restaurant, both didn't have what we wanted off the menu but food is generally good and all staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would always recommend village hotels as good value for money and leisure facilities are great!

Although I've visited the hotel several times for business evenings this was the first time I had stayed there. It's conveniently located, has plenty of parking and generally a good place to stay. We ate in the pub at night and the meal was very good and reasonably priced, though like ost hotels the drinks are pricey. We didn't use the Starbucks or leisure facilities but both looked busy and popular. The rooms are clean and tidy with very comfortable beds and the bathroom was modern and clean with an excellent shower. A large TV makes watching in bed comfortable and convenient. Breakfast was fine and the food plentiful and of good quality. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the staff were all friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate to use the hotel again.

This is a very busy hotel, running multiple weddings and functions with factory like efficiency. The gym is super popular and the pool is warm and inviting.

However the bar food is mediocre and the breakfasts are underwhelming. Cheap and cheerful food and coffee that makes you leave early and grab a Starbucks on the way out to get rid of the taste.

The lift was broken on Friday and still out of order on Sunday morning when we left causing people to carry cases, presents, babies and prams up and down from the second to the ground floor. There was a choice to go through the kitchen accompanying a member of staff and use the service lift but this was not ideal, it was still a long walk for a disabled person.
The staff were polite and friendly but incredibly rushed off their feet at times.

No issues with the rooms, they were comfortable, clean and modern. The dyson fan advertised does not include a remote control so it is full on or off, no timer, oscillation or level of control.

The pool changing rooms look great and they have good facilities but some signage would be helpful for people who have never been before. Otherwise you spend five minutes working on how to use the locker bracelet and looking for the entrance to the pool.

The absolute worst part of the stay was watching the masses of self righteous skinny jean wearing half wits driving pimped up cars showing off in the car park and parking in disabled bays to go the gym or just hang around loving themselves. It seams the tight pants must limit your ability to walk but don't require a badge. Go figure! This needs policing for the sake of decency and respect.
