I am as excited for summer as anyone, I mean, who isn’t looking forward to enjoy warm and sunny weather for a change!? There is one minor problem – this is a British summer we are talking about and it is about as reliable as the local bus service. But don’t worry; I have you covered for when the weather refuses to make us happy!
The East Lancashire Railway see’s the return of their award winning 1940s Weekend on 24th – 26th May. The popular event is back bigger and better than ever before with an array of activities for all the family including; vintage fun fair, wartime workshops, fabulous forties entertainment, line quiz as well as popular battle re-enactments.
