Every year the Police Authority must by law, ensure that a Local Policing Summary (LPS) is produced and delivered to each household in the policing area. Currently 9 different versions of the local summaries are created in line with council areas, which include, Leicester City, Hinckley and Bosworth, Melton, North West Leicestershire, Charnwood, Rutland, Market Harborough, Oadby and Wigston and Blaby.

The Home Office provides guidance on when the Local Policing Summaries are produced and what we must include. We must ensure that we follow these guidelines.

We do however want to produce Local Policing Summaries that give information about what matters to you and your community, therefore we would like your ideas as to what information you might like to see included. Where possible the information you provide will help us to decide what is included in the finished product. We can not make comment on individual cases
