The Inaugural HarboroughFest Ball - The Big Idea

The Harboroughfest Ball emerged out of the idea to hold a truly enjoyable event that celebrates all that's great and good about Market Harborough. What better way to showcase local food, drink and talent and raise much-needed funds for local causes?

The local causes in question are Adam'Smile, The Jessie Mason Fund, Rainbows Children's Hospice, Clapa (support for people with cleft palates) and The Friends of Robert Smyth School.

Now, here's the low-down …

The Inaugural HarboroughFest Ball - in a nutshell

Date: Saturday 27 June 2009

Arrival: 7:15pm for Champagne reception

Carriages: 1:00am

Venue: Robert Smyth School, Burnmill Road, Market Harborough

Tickets: £60

The theme for the evening will be 'Great Harborians' with each table celebrating one of Harborough's famous sons or daughters. The evening will include: Champagne reception; wine tasting; 3-course gourmet meal; fundraising fun (auction, games); jazz/swing band; salsa demonstration and disco.

The tickets are available at Duncan Murray Wines, 10 Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough. There are just 220 tickets and each table will seat 10 people. There's already a healthy demand so please don't leave it too long if you're interested!

The event promises to be great fun as well as supporting great local causes so I'd love to hear from you if you're interested in coming along or have any further questions.

With very best wishes
