Dick Whittington Farm Park

The range of interesting and unusual small animals continues to grow at the Dick Whittington Farm Park at Longhope.  Recent additions include, Giant European Rabbits, which can grow to the size of Labrador dogs, water lizards and a large variety of crab.

Park owner, Mr. Chris Turney, says:

'We really enjoy the young children getting close to our farm animals, pets and reptiles.  A lot of the children only see them on TV, particularly such things as the owls, deer, wallabies and reptiles.'

Despite that aftermath of the recession, visitor numbers at the Farm Park have remained good throughout the Summer which has seen visitors from as far afield as Japan, America and South Africa.

This is truely an exciting time for the farm park who have managed to retain their customers through the recent tough financial climate and clearly shows that they are not resting in the comfort zone, but looking to the future and building on their already successful reputation.
