The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) is a life saving service operating all over the East Midlands and serving the people of Heanor and Ripley since 2008. Flying out of East Midlands Airport but regularly re-fueling in Ripley, the DLRAA runs entirely on donations and receives no Government Funding.

Days out and attractions | Derbyshire | Chatsworth House | Positioned in beautiful surroundings on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District, Chatsworth House is a stunning building and the entire estate holds enough treasures to keep all the members of the family entertained. The children's activity farm and playground is always a favourite.
I am ashamed to say that although I had visited many times, I had never previously been inside the house, always thought it was too expensive, how wrong I was!
The enormity of the place and the absolute stunning grandeur actually deserves the price tag. It is a fantastic day out and you really could be entertained for the entire day!
The gardens are absolutely enormous, and just magnificent, you could a full day just wandering outside....
The house is absolutely wonderful and packed with great and grand treasures. You are able to fully appreciate and wander at leisure, and there are no restrictions on photographs.
Absolutely fantastic day out, with something for everyone to enjoy!
