At Giorgioʼs you will always be given a warm welcome by Richard, Kelly and their team. Whatever you choose from the menu, you will be assured of a classic Italian experience. The presentation, quality, flavours and textures of the dishes combine to give the best of Italian cuisine. It is hard to believe that this jewel of excellence is in the UK let alone on your doorstep in Pontefract.

I have been going to Farmercopleys since it first opened. As an animal lover I have always been very concerned where I purchased my meat produce. Farmercopleys meats are second to none and I have the added assurance from the owners Rob and Heather on how the meat reached the shop. I have seen the shop grow from strength to strength and the range of produce now available to purchase is superb. Itʼs lovely to see the customers arrive with their children - itʼs actually a day out as the children can play on the toy tractors and see the various farm animals. As a partner in a property investment Company, I have come across lots of Letting agents, some of which I would never mention, but when I contacted Rob Hubbard of Ledge Associates, I quickly realised I had found someone who knew what he was talking about. He goes that extra mile to keep both the tenant and landlord happy. As a company we would probably never use anyone else in the Yorkshire area. On a personal note, he is handling the management of one of my own properties, which was not without its own problems.He has handled it better than anyone else I know could have.

I canʼt praise Farmer Copleyʼs enough. My wife and I shop there regularly as the food is great, fairly priced, and locally sourced where possible. The staff are friendly efficient and knowledgeable. I look forward to going there for our weekly shop and wish I could go there more often. Itʼs one of the few shops Iʼve been to where I have never seen anyoneʼs kids throw a ʼsupermarket tantrumʼ as itʼs fun and engaging for the littleʼuns.

I visted Al Jamils on an unplanned evening, but knew I wanted a delightful Indian restaurant that was going to get the taste buds alive with flavour - the only question was will I get that in Pontefract! I come from Manchester where the curry mile provides me with an abundance of choice... We came across this small cosy indian restaurant, pleasant deco - certainly not your traditional indian restaurant, more contemporary. The music was not bollywood more soothing jazz in the background! I was intrigued - but does the food live upto first impressionsʽ The menu - had the obvious favouirites - but also had the chefs special! I fancied living on the edge... For starters we had onion bhajiʼs and a mix kebab both very satisfying starters to take the crunch out of hunger. The chefs Special Chicken Jalfreezi was the real treat, a tasteful succulent dish complemented with nan and pilau rice - a real winner! Was not spicy hot - more flavoursome. With side orders of aloo saag (potatoe and spinach). I thought this place could give any restaurant on the curry mile ( in Manchester) a run for its money - Pontefract has an authentic Indian ruby here! Thanks

I was introduced to Steve by a Good friend who manages Xercise Health and Fitness, the base for Steveʼs office. 1st off Steve spent a good long time sat listening to where I was at the time and where I wanted to get, not only with my body shape and fitness, but also my confidence. I was at the time, overweight and suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. We discussed what mix of products would be most likely to achieve the goals I was looking for, tailoring the plan to fit within my monthly budget. In addition to the nutritional side of his business, Steve also is a highly qualified hypnotherapist, this combined with the nutritional side, incorporating regular vists to the gym has helped me greatly, I am down to a 32 waist and my self confidence has come on leaps and bounds. Now only 2 1/2 months into the program I have by no means achieved all I want to, but am amazed with the progress I have made, which is largely thanks to Steve and his business. This is by no means a bunch of miracle remedies which make the weight drop off, but if you are willing to put the effort in and have the motivation to improve yourself, Steveʼs business is a great catalyst to help you on your way.

The atmosphere is very good and relaxed and the food is excellent. I have eaten on a lunch time alone and felt comfortable and looked after. I have also been on an evening as a party and felt equally as looked after.

Residing in London and having bought an investment property in Pontefract, i was recommended Ledge Associates to use as a letting agent. I am glad I did. After speaking with several other letting agents in the area I was very dissapointed with the service and manner i was dealt with. No-one seemed interested and doing business with them seemed to be a chore on their part. Then came along Rob Hubbard from Ledge Associates who found me a tenant in record time, kept in constant touch via phone and email to advise me of on-goings and did not charge me the earth for his services. I highly recommend Ledge Associates to any investor or anybody who wishes to use a letting agent. He will sort it all and in record time.

Giorgioʼs was recommended to us as a restaurant that was worthy of being regarded as one of ʼthe bestʼ in Pontefract. Upon meeting Richard he tolds us of the awards he had won for his pizzaʼs, so we decided to try it out and rate it for ourselves. The pizzaʼs I can honestly say are the best this side of Rome. They are just how the Italians make them, very thin and very tasty. All the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and very accomodating. The menu is extensive and the special offers are exceptional value for money. This is one restaurant that is definatly worth visiting, and I am sure you will not be dsappointed. Well done to Richard and his staff!
