Iʼm a somerset girl really and after being unable to find a instructor locally that could offer me regular lessons because full-time work & childcare I was really running out of confidence & motivation, so when my family recommended a instructor theyʼd heard of on the grapevine I finally decided to call... Well within a few weekends of staying with a friend in Barnstaple ( and some long patient hours put in by my instructor ) we decided to go for it ! and so I past 1st time!!! . I know that I still wouldnʼt have been ready now if it wasnʼt for the patience & reassurance that was on hand I was put at ease straight away and improved quickly within the first few hours of lessons with Robs driving skills , amazing patience & humour!! Thankyou Rob, Couldnʼt have done it without you it was the best decision I could have made to ring ( and the devonshire countryside isnʼt half bad as well!)

Rob made learning to drive a great experience for me. He was patient and willing to add humour to the lessons. He made me confident in everything i did. I passed first time with Rob and have also completed pass plus with him. A top driving instructor. Highly reccomended to everyone.

The Tom Cobley - Pub Accommodation

I went to the Tom Cobley for a meal last night. I have to say it was excellent, the steak was cooked medium rare just as requested, the presentation was great, and Roger the landlord was an absolutely top chap. What really topped it though was that the Winkleigh Morris Dancers turned up part way through the evening and what a jolly bunch they were too. An excellent evening out, I highly recommend the Tom Cobley, I can see why they do so well with the CAMRA awards too!

Hole Station Campsite - Okehampton area campsite

A really brilliant campsite; it was great to cook over an open fire and go for walks in the woods with the kids. The 1926 railway carriage made for a truly unique ablution block, as well as kitchen and reading room! The kids were able to feed the chickens and collect the eggs. I loved the fact that the cars were in a separate area and a wheelbarrow was to hand for transporting your gear to the pitch. A friendly camping experience and we will definitely go back.

Blagdon Manor Hotel & Restaurant - Country House

We have just returned from a fabulous break at the peaceful and relaxing Blagdon Manor Hotel. Liz ,Steve and their team are very welcoming and friendly.The entire hotel is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean with stunning gardens and grounds. The delicious,high quality food is locally sourced ,prepared from a gleaming kitchen by chef and served in the delightful restaurant overlooking rolling countryside.The food is excellent value for money-in our opinion-as good as any London Restaurant,if not better!!We had intended to try different restaurants,but instead,ate dinner at the Hotel every evening. We took our puppy ,who was provided with his own bed,food mat,bowls ,treats and a clean towel every day.However,you donʼt NEED to have a dog to stay there !!!

I called in to Advance Tyres last week to get a punctured ATV trailer tyre sorted. Itʼs an unusual size so I didnʼt expect a same day repair - it was ready within the hour. A good idea to put directions in your ad, I might have gone into ATS by mistake oitherwise, and Iʼm not keen on buying from a national when thereʼs a local business available such as yours. Easter Hall Park Riding & Carriage Driving Centre

well wot can i say, easter hall park is great, ive been up there 4 2 yrs now and i have improved so much...the staff are great =] and they have helped me find my perfect bond with Stanley- they have helped me when ever ive needed them and the teaching is GREAT!...when i buy my horse i will definately going to get there opinion and point me in the right direction...all the activities are great and the pony club is excellent- they have also helped me to discover what career im doing in the future- definately working with horses- I WOULD DEFINATELY SAY EASTER HALL PARK IS THE PLACE TO RIDE.!
