Battlesteads Hotel at Wark, Hexham, Northumberland, was converted from an 18th Century farmstead, our family run hotel near Hexham provides a warm welcome to residents and non-residents alike, with a traditional character and friendly atmosphere combining to make your overnight stay in our hotel and the Hexham area a memorable one.
All the bedrooms in our hotel have been carefully modernised to provide comfortable accommodation, all rooms in our hotel are en-suite and have colour television, trouser press, hair-dryer and ironing boards. For guests with disabilities our hotel has four rooms specifically on the ground floor and their accommodation is close to parking spaces.

Our hotel’s bar has a good selection of regional ales, both bottled and cask, keg beers and a list of over 20 wines. The 'snug' in our hotel is a non-smoking area and is suitable for children.
The restaurant in our hotel, as well as a full a la carte menu, serves bar meals, hot and cold sandwiches. Selections from our blackboard menu are available throughout the day.
For our hotel guests who are going to explore Hexham and Wark, or are venturing out into the wider Northumberland areas, our restaurant can provide packed lunches.
