I visited Paul after Custom Stylus after it was recommended by a friend. I already had a tattoo which I wanted to expand on. After a quick consultation with Paul we had discussed the options available and he took some photos of my existing tattoo. After a few days he contacted me with some great ideas, and really takes the time to make sure your happy and wonʼt proceed until heʼs convinced itʼs what you want. It took a total of four or five sessions for my tattoo to be completed, and each session was relaxed and friendly. Plus he supplies you with enough coffee to keep you awake for a week. I was really happy with the overall result of my tattoo and Iʼm currently thinking of what to get next. I will definitely be visiting Paul again. Many people have already mentioned the unusual design of the shop, but what I liked most is that it is so open. With the large glass windows it gets rid of that back street shady stereo-typical image of a tattooistʼs. This shop is a great addition to Morpeth.

Custom Stylus is a very impressive tattoo studio. I have been tattoeed by Paul three times and he provides such a high standard. If your nervous about getting a tattoo, donʼt be, Paul puts you very much at ease when tattooing you. Custom Stylus is very tidy and original inside. I recommend Custom Stylus to anyone who wants a tattoo.

Having had a small and somewhat inferior tattoo done many yrs ago, I decided to brave another, which turned into an even bigger mistake. Having been recommended by friends I decided to give custom stylus a go. Because of past bad experiences I was understandably nervous so with great trepidation I travelled from the coast but was put at ease immediately by Pauls friendly and professional manner.I have another visit planned for Dec and now have a tattoo I can be proud of, so much so Iʼm already planning the nxt one.Paul is an extremely talented and artistic guy who is a credit to his profession and I hope to be a customer of his for many yrs to come.

Made a trip from Chile, South America to get tattooed at Stottyʼs new place. It paid off as I know have some excellent additions to some old tattooes Stotty did for me years ago. Both were done free hand and apart from making an excellent job, the time sat in the chair (6 hours in total) flew by. Stotty is a bright kid and has a way of making you relax and enjoy the experience. I plan to make the same trip next year to add more to the collection. Cheers Stotty.

Yes. Iʼm a 43 year old ʼprofessionalʼ who has a number of tattoos. Iʼm sorry for people who steriotypically feel itʼs undesirable. Iʼm from Blyth, and live in Cullercoats now. Paul first did artwork for me in Whitley Bay. It must be 3 or 4 years since Iʼve been tattooed and so I tracked Paul down in Morpeth. He is a nice, sound man but also a talented artiste. Heʼs my first choice. His studio has a comfortable, easy-going atmosphere with many interesting pieces of ʼjunkʼ! For me the telephone is the highpoint, the fact that it is serviceable and working was even more impressive. Honestly, if you are considering a tattoo of any design, any size, or just considering the proʼs and conʼs, talk to Paul.

What can I say about Paul and Custom Stylusʽ I first visited a few months ago, not long after the shop had begun opperating, and was amazed at the decor!! How many places do you know that have a chopped up pick up truck in place of furnitureʽʽ!! But it all adds to the experience of being tattooed by young Mr Stott. The atmosphere is friendly, funny, clean and reassuring all at once. Paul got rid of all my fears about getting my first tattoo, and weʼre currently working on a really lush back piece, incorporating all the things I love. I would encourage anybody thinking of getting a tattoo to visit Custom Stylus, as not only do you end up with a kick ass tattoo, you also get a lollipop if youʼve been good!! Long live Paul, Custom Stylus and the strawberry and cream flavoured lollipops!!

what can i say about this shop. i had my first tattoo done in may of this year. His art work is fantasic. A proper lovely bloke. Would recommend him to anyone and have done. I had a little work from Paul years ago before he opened in Morpeth, I remembered then being put at ease with his relaxed nature, and attention to making sure I was comfortable with everything before proceeding to produce first class art. Once he popped up in Morpeth I went to explore the new studio, the decor is a breath of fresh air and its also great to see Paul has brought with him his natural ability to make it such a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I think moving with the times as well as managing to keep his feet planted in the roots of tattoo art/style is one of his obvious talents. His thought process, vision and ethics are quite unique. Iʼve not come across an artist who is prepared to put so much time and dedication outside of sitting in the chair into your and his work, and it shows in the results. I have just recived my first tattoo from paul and can honestly say i will never use another, after a less than perfect experince in other studios it is a breath of fresh air, clean and hygeinic studio, paul is always v. freindly and happy to help with any ideas you may have and great after care advice and support. v. tastefull decor with comfy enviroment i travel from blyth and is well worth the journy. you are made to feel comfortable and relaxed. anyone thinking of getting a tattoo for the first time, a cover up or another to add to your growing colection like me i would advise a drop in and a chat as you wont be dissapointed..oh yhe and the lollipops mm cheers..

Paul offers a unique approach to the art of tattoo, his creativity is unrivalled due to his experience and willing to incorporate the customers ideas and his own together. A most basic and vague idea put to Paul will be turned into a be-spoke piece of art. After being around Paul for only a few minutes you can see the passion and pride he has for his work which is always mirrored in the end product. I have been a customer of his for 8 years now and wouldnʼt dare go anywhere else for fear of inadequate quality. ive been a customer of pauls for over 5 years now.He started tattooing me when he was at the coast.Then i followed him to berwick and now morpeth.His art work is amazing and i wouldnt let anybody else do my work.The number of people who have asked where i got my work done is unreal and that is all over the world.I would highly recomend this shop as it is clean frendly and you will get something to show off for the rest of your life.Thanks for all the work you have done and like arnie says IL BE BACK!

Not so long ago Morpeth was very unsure about having its own tattoo studio. However ture to his word the owner Paul Stott has definitly done morpeth proud! Already business is blooming and the people of morpeth have been delighted with the great service and artwork on offer.During my last vist to the studio I was pleasently suprised to see a real mix of people embracing & showing their support to this new business. I can highly recommend to those of you who have always wanted a tattoo but have been worried about visiting a tattoo studio to give Custom Stylus a go, the level of service, cleanliness and work on offer is of the highest standard and the experience of having a tattoo done here is one you will remember forever! I actually travel to morpeth from the coast to visit the studio as its standard is so high. However this is always a bonus for me as I get to do a bit of shopping whilst I am here and some of your local butchers are serving some delicious meats and delicacies!

Walking into Custom Stylus is like walking into a typical 1960ʼs American Diner, not the norm for a tattoo studio but it makes the whole experience of getting a tattoo more enjoyable.
