Established since 1983 the Diwan-e-Am is one of Hexham’s longest established Indian restaurants and we pride ourselves in providing only the very best Indian dishes, traditional and contemporary, with only the finest spices, fresh fruit and vegetables.
We chose the name Diwan-E-Am to welcome all Hexham’s food lovers to our Indian restaurant where every dish has its own impact and our chefs love to adhere to the traditional methods of cooking to bring out the richness of the Indian cuisine.
Over the years other Indian restaurants have joined us to serve the residents and visitors to Hexham; however we have strived to deliver our mission:
