Web designers have given future Damien Hirsts and Tracy Emins a possible head start after Charles Saatchi introduced a website aimed at showcasing student artwork.
The website is designed to make life easier for both artists and buyers as an online gallery is time-efficient and provides a platform from which purchases can be made around the clock.
To date, over 2,000 student artists have displayed work on the site which is called STUART, amalgamating the words student and art.
In a statement, Mr Saatchi said: "There is something thrilling about seeing the work of young artists for the first time even before their school shows."
Saatchi's site displays the artwork randomly and the images change regularly so that there is a fair spread of focus on all of the pieces. Also, artists who are online are available for live chat to discuss their pieces.
If you require exposure for your artwork, perhaps you need a web designer. Visit our online directory for listings in your area.
