A UK franchise printing company is to move into web design as it looks to expand its presence in the business design sector.
According to PrintWeek magazine, Kall Kwik is upgrading to QuarkXPress 7 web design software across its national network in order to provide quality design services for its clients.
As the potential of the internet as a strategic business tool becomes ever more apparent to businesses of all shapes and sizes, having a strong online presence is becoming increasingly important.
This is why Kall Kwik, which employs over 200 designers, has ambitions to move beyond simple printing services and offer brand identity work, direct marketing, e-marketing and web design.
Richard Baker, the company's national creative director, told PrintWeek: "In order to continue to succeed and grow the business we need to move fast into new areas. Design is a hugely exciting growth area for us."
Kall Kwik has around 160 franchises across the UK, each providing business clients with a range of printing services to meet their communication needs.
