Accountants to provide specialised services for estate agents
Letting Agents - 06/12/2006 14:38:02
Accountants in Herefored and Worcester are to provide specialised services for estate agents to help them get to grips with complex tax issues.
According to the Ledbury Reporter, Kendall Wadley will be offering to advise the estate agents on its books on various aspects of tax law relating to both the selling and letting of property.
Kendall Wadley's accountants, who have become experts in this field, will work with estate agents to help them understand the implications of capital gains tax, inheritance tax and VAT for both residential and commercial properties.
They will also offer advice on government schemes such as the Non Resident Landlord Scheme to help estate agents work out their rights and responsibilities in terms of tax on rental incomes.
Elizabeth Needham, director at Kendall Wadley, told the Ledbury Reporter: "The tax situation that affects estate agents in particular, requires careful scrutiny.
"It makes huge sense for estate agents to utilise the accountancy services of a firm that has worked in the sector for many years and that is intrinsically aware of the key issues they face from an accountancy point of view."
