Pop superstar Michael Jackson has set up camp in one of London's most exclusive hotels in preparation for his performance at the World Music Awards on Wednesday.
The singer flew into the capital on a private jet from Ireland and has taken up residence in the Hempel Hotel, one of the most fashionable places to stay in the city.
Surrounded by paparazzi, Jacko forced his way into the plush reception room followed by two of his three children who, as usual, had their faces covered by cloth.
In his first performance in ten years, the star will entertain the crowd at Earls Court with a recreation of his Thriller video, complete with dozens of dancers dressed as monsters.
As well as heading on stage to sing, the performer will also be handed a Diamond Award at the prestigious ceremony – an honour which is given to music artists who have sold more than 100 million records.
Melissa Corken, founder of the World Music Awards, said: "The UK is home of many of the bestselling artists of all time. The presence of Michael Jackson is very exciting for us."
