If it is hotels in the Blackpool area that you are after, it may be advisable to avoid one filled with politicians, if a recent incident is anything to go by.

Labour party members were allegedly enjoying themselves a little too vocally for the liking of Ricky Day, manager of Howard's Crest Hotel in Blackpool, and he has said that he asked them to keep the noise down on three occasions.

A gang of over 20 party members, including local government committee chairman John Hartshorne and Bolton south-east MP Dr Brian Iddon, had made their way to the hotel for the party conference back in November but it is only now that details of the row are coming to light.

Mr Day explained that the guests were rude and he warned them that if they would not quieten down then he would be forced to ask them to leave the room where a cabaret act was going on.

According to the Howard's Crest website, the hotel "prides itself on a clean friendly atmosphere". If it is a clean, friendly atmosphere that you are looking for then use our listings to look up hotels in Blackpool.
