A travel charger that will enable guests to simultaneously charge two electrical devices has been introduced to a major chain of hotels.
Travelodge has made the device, called 'SynCh', available in ten of its hotels as well as offering the charger for sale online. Users will able to charge a wide range of mobile gadgets include mobile phones, mp3 players, PDAs and in-car SatNav equipment.
The SynCh also has the ability to be used as a USB link and will enable the transfer of electronic data between gadgets and laptop computers.
Guests staying at any of the ten hotels offering the device will be granted access free of charge while the charger is also retailing online for £20.
Guy Parsons of Travelodge, said: "Travelodge is always looking at new low-cost ways of making our customers' lives easier. Our receptionists get many requests for spare chargers, as it is common for customers to leave theirs at home.
"It's impossible for us to stock a wide range of electrical gadget chargers but with the SynCh we can now offer this unique service at a low cost."
