Workers at a Lancashire hotel have been told that their jobs are secure after a national chain took over the management of the building.
The Swallow Hotel, on Preston New Road, Samlesbury, has been taken over by Crerar Hotels in a deal which saves both jobs and the hotel's name.
Chief executive Paddy Crerar said that there would be little changes now the hotel was under new management as Crerar would be concentrating on winning back the confidence of employees and staff.
Mr Crerar told the Lancashire Evening Post: "What we have to do is look after the people running this hotel and make sure they have everything in place to be able to do the job we know they are more than capable of doing.
"It has been a worrying time for the workforce during the period in administration, but the early feedback we have had from the staff has been very positive."
The 78-bedroom property was one of a number of hotels that went up for sale in August after the London and Edinburgh Swallow Group went into administration.
