Snip and a strip for Staffordshire hairdresser

A Staffordshire hairdresser is offering his customers a little more than just a trim, with the news that he has been granted a licence for pole-dancing.
Rob Johnstone plans to have girls dancing for his punters during late-night opening at his two hairdressing salons in Wolstanton.
Gyrating around traditional red and white stripped barbers poles, the ladies will entertain those waiting for a snip with a strip.
This latest venture follows Mr Johnstone's decision to serve alcohol in his salons after receiving a licence from local magistrates.
Talking about selling alcohol on his premises, Mr Johnstone said: "I want it strictly for customers. I don't want to put people off who are waiting for a haircut.
"It looks more like a wine bar than a barber shop - I wanted to give that trendy look. It is good for the image of the shop and for the client."
By combining the two, customers waiting at his hairdressers will get a full entertainment package rather than thumbing through yesterday's newspapers.
