Hairdressers get the extra-marital gossip

Hairdressers hear about two thirds of affairs from guilt-ridden women before anyone else, a survey revealed today.
Men it seems are not as open as there female counterparts however, with less that a third sharing their secrets with the barber.
More than 600 members of extra-marital dating website IllicitEncounters.com were asked: "Who would be the first person you would tell if you were having an affair?"
More than 73 per cent of women claimed that their hairdresser would be the first person to learn of the scandal but only 29 per cent of men would do the same.
Rather than confiding in a close friend, the second person a woman is likely to talk to is a complete stranger, according to the survey, while third, fourth and fifth on the list were a parent, their best friend and a work colleague, respectively.
Top of the list for men was there best pal followed by a work colleague, solicitor, parent, a female friend and their hairdresser. The last person they would tell was their partner, the survey found.
