Celebrities scared of getting the chop

Singer Steve Strange has voiced his concern about the number of accidents he and his fellow celebrities have had while training to become hairdressers on reality show Celebrity Scissorhands.
Joined by Darren Day, Radio One DJ Scott Mills and six others, the Welsh pop star says he hopes to avoid snipping off his finger while chopping hair for Children in Need.
The eight contestants have been training to become hairdressers and beauticians and their progress will be shown on BBC3 from Sunday.
On November 17th, they will show off their new found snipping skills at the Children in Need Appeal night alongside Girls Aloud, Fearne Cotton and Terry Wogan.
Strange told the Western Mail: "I cut the hand of hairdresser Lee Stafford on the first day, on the second day I cut the tip of my own finger and had to have a stitch. And on the third day Darren Day cut his finger and had three stitches.
"I've improved through sheer determination. But I'm really looking forward to the beauty treatments this week and I'm getting the hang of the conversations with the client."
