New graphic design centre praised

Swansea has received a brand new multimedia graphic design centre which is designed to provide training opportunities for locals.
Create Solutions is a highly acclaimed project funded by the Welsh assembly and it provides support and guidance to people who are recovering from mental illness, enabling them to get back into employment.
Graphic design is just one the skills that can be learnt at the Swansea centre which also provides facilities and educational training for computer building, garden clearance and catering.
Chris Holley, leader of Swansea council, praised the project: "Ordinary people who have needed support in getting into the world of work have benefited from the funds we've been able to harness and put to good use."
Crate Solutions was opened in July 2006 and supports people with mental illnesses to gain confidence and return to meaningful employment.
