A Yorkshire florist has launched a new internet service to help take its custom nationwide.
Rafters florists in Driffield has launched a new website which offers customers the chance to get freshly arranged bouquets delivered to almost all of the UK, thanks to their use of a network of couriers.
The owners of the florist hope that their nee service will offer a more personal touch and better value for money than other online florist ventures.
The florist's managing director Andy Rafter said: "Every bouquet that is delivered on our behalf is created by us using only the highest quality flowers. It saves chancing the lottery of the large relay companies.
"The flower market is extremely volatile with influences from all over Europe. We are now importing direct from Holland, Colombia and Jersey."
The flower section in the Driffield florists was recently refurbished after Tracy Rafter visited France and saw how shops their prepared bunches and bouquets in front of the customers.
