A woman has managed to successfully turn her life around and become a leading florist.
Karen Jones has praised the Prince's Trust for helping support her life-long dream of becoming a florist and enabling her to escape domestic violence, reports This is Lancashire.
Ms Jones had always wanted to own a florists shop but after having her house repossessed and being trapped in a violent relationship she was unable to fulfil her potential.
However, the Prince's Trust, which provides support to various business ideas proposed by young entrepreneurs, offered her a grant to get started.
Ms Jones explained: "I had really low self-esteem but always felt I had the ability to run my own business. I went to the bank for a loan but they couldn't help because of my low credit status.
"Then someone recommended The Prince's Trust and I've never looked back. It's taken a few years to get a reputation but now I'm living my dream."
