An East Anglia town is preparing to remember those who served during World War I, reports the Watton & Swaffham Times.
Watton, near Norwich, is to be decked out in displays with shops in the area taking on a special role in the remembrance festivities.
Three florists in the town are to display dazzling floral displays in their shop windows while John's Bed Shop is to display a mannequin in full soldier uniform.
As well as the displays, the town will be holding a special parade on Saturday November 11th with a minute's silence at 11:00 GMT to commemorate the armistice being signed.
Watton and District Poppy Appeal organiser Jo Myers told the Watton & Swaffham Times: "I am delighted that so many shops have shown their support in their shop windows.
"There is a strong sense of community among the retailers, who are willing to assist with something if it strikes a chord."
Watton shares a special connection with armed forces who served during World War I thanks to its proximity to the former army base RAF Watton.
As well as the parade on Saturday, a full remembrance service will be staged on Sunday November 12th at 14:15 GMT at the town's war memorial.
While poppies have always been a special part of the Remembrance Day activities, florists in your area can help you create the perfect floral arrangement for any event.
