Florists have a cool idea

Shoppers hit by last week's heatwave were offered relief when a florists
opened up its flower fridge to cool people down, it was reported.
The Flower Gallery in Hertfordshire allowed passers-by to shelter from the sweltering heat in the fridge which is normally used to keep flowers at a temperature of 4.4 degrees centigrade.
Manager Sallie Walker told the Welwyn & Hatfield Times that staff in the shop put a sign on the front door offering "chill-out" time and that they were overcome by takers.
She added: "Plenty of people lingered in the shop too because we had the air conditioning on as cold as possible to keep our flowers just as fresh as normal, so the heatwave was great for business."
Suggestions of ways to beat the heat have been flying up and down the country after temperatures reached record levels for July.
Commuters travelling on buses and London's tube network have been advised to carry water on all journeys and not travel at all if they feel ill.
Other suggestions include putting your underwear in the freezer the night before wearing it and spraying ice cold water over you bed before going to sleep.
