Spa town estate agents profiting

Estate agents in spa towns across the country are raking in profits according to new figures which show property prices in these areas are higher than the national average.
Figures released by Halifax Estate Agents show that in all cases, homes in the UK's 18 spa towns were pricier than in surrounding areas.
Halifax researchers also revealed that 16 towns had larger than average properties and many had less traffic than other areas.
The two priciest spa towns were Epsom and Tunbridge Wells, with the former having homes which cost around £297,354 and the latter, having homebuyers forking out £279,978.
Colin Kemp, managing director at Halifax Estate Agents, remarked: "Spa towns are clearly popular with homes buyers with their house prices usually trading at a premium to nearby towns. The ten best performing spa towns since 2001 are all outside the south of England with Welsh spa towns seeing keen interest.
"The average house price in Builth Wells in Powys, the best performing spa town, has risen by nearly 150 per cent over the past five years."
