RNCB plot is 'the best in Hereford'

Land put up for sale by the Royal National College for the Blind (RNCB) is some of the best in Hereford, according to local estate agents.
RNCB bosses are hoping to earn enough money from the sale of the 4.9-acre site to be able to undertake a full renovation of its Venns Lane headquarters.
And Marc Wilson, of Savills estate agents, has said that the site could potentially be worth millions of pounds to developers after the local council granted permission for houses to be built on the site.
Speaking to the Hereford Times, Mr Wilson said: "This is one of the best sites to be sold in Hereford for years."
RNCB principal Christine Steadman outlined the plans for the money and claimed that the sale of the site would greatly improve facilities for those attending the college.
"The college plans to use the proceeds to contribute to the overall funding package for the campus development," she told the Hereford Times.
"This includes additional living accommodation for learners, a sports and complementary therapy centre and an assessment centre for prospective and external learners."
