Cheeky builds 'open' sex shop

Crouch End was preparing for its first sex shop until it turned out to be a hoax by builders working in a shop.
Mischievous builders placed a sign in the shop window that said: "This is new Crouch Hill sex shop."
As soon as the sign went up, local residents and nearby traders begun asking questions about the new retail outlet with some seeming excited by the prospect.
However, an investigation by the Tottenham, Wood Green and Edmonton Journal soon uncovered that the sign was a hoax and builders working on the shop had put it up as a joke.
By Wednesday lunchtime the sign was down and some local shopkeepers were left somewhat disappointed at the news the shop is actually to become an estate agents.
One told the Journal that "it would have been more exciting than another estate agents", with another saying "my reaction was 'brilliant' and at least it's not another clothes shop".
