AIB teams up with Flexta to send SMS information to SMEs

The Association of Independent Business (AIB) has selected Flexta to build a customised SMS sales and marketing platform for its members.
AIB, which now represents 2,000 companies, has launched the initiative in a twelve-month pilot project to provide information to its diverse membership made up of sole traders and SMEs all over the UK.
Stephen Gorman, membership director of AIB explained: "The AIB already provides its members with an unrivalled package of benefits including free legal advice, free marketing products, free financial advice, and free web hosting."
The organisation was relaunched in 2005 and has grown from strength to strength since then.
"In adding SMS text marketing tools to this portfolio, we're providing even more value to current and future AIB members, without increasing our prices," he added.
In order to benefit from these services, small businesses must subscribe to an AIB membership for £60 per year and can obtain a ten per cent discount by applying through SMS before July 30th.
