Free online learning materials are being offered to SMEs thanks to the 'Into Enterprise Project' (IEP) funded by the EU.
The IEP, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the North West Development Agency (NWDA), offers materials published by Echelon Learning Ltd, in collaboration with St Martin's College Centre for Creativity and Innovation.
Echelon's managing director David Hill, explained: "St Martin's College engaged us to help in this project after viewing our 'Learning Matters' website. They liked the format of the site and felt that the wide range of business and management content met the needs of their SME clients perfectly."
The learning materials are being made available to SMEs in North West England online, through a website, which is part of an 'enterprise portal' at St Martin's College.
Distance and e-learning material are available on the website, comprising self-learning solutions, best practice essays as well as action lists.
Real-time learning through Echelon's website will also be available in the near future.
