Business support guru goes for a hat-trick

Business Support and Networking - 26/09/2006 16:19:14

A business support and networking specialist is set to launch her third business, The Gazette reports.

Denise Walker has started Absolute Business, her third company, to offer consultancy, business support and networking to recruitment agencies around the country.

She claims that the business will allow her to work more closely with her clients and to offer a more in-depth service.

Ms Walker began her career in Basingstoke with Reed Employment before setting up her own business support and networking firm designed for recruitment agencies.

Tulip Recruitment went on to become a huge success, finishing second in the Basingstoke Business Awards and achieving Investors in People status within six weeks.

After selling Tulip, Ms Walker went on to work for the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, setting up the UK's first industry-specific business support service for recruitment agencies.

And now, with Absolute Business, the female entrepreneur is hoping that lightening will strike for a third time and that recruitment agencies will not be able to get enough of her new service.

Ms Walker said: "There's a definite need for a more bespoke, hands-on method of working with recruitment companies, where tailor-made solutions are delivered on the clients' premises."
