Business support and networking event in December

Companies in east England are being invited to join together with Indian firms in a new business support and networking event.
East India International (EEI) is organising a trade mission to Prune to encourage like-minded organisations to come together and make potentially lucrative business deals.
In December, companies will have the chance to attend a number of workshops which are aimed to match potential business soulmates.
EEI is hoping ten organisations will get involved in the mission this year.
Sanjay Purohit, who is leading the initiative, said: "We are looking to cover biotech and pharmaceuticals, healthcare, the food industry – even construction if it is the right area of construction.
"In every case, Indian joint venture partners will only be interested in value-add partners that can provide benefit quite high up the value add chain. It is hard for UK companies to directly export to India.
"Indian companies tend to be poor buyers but good sellers, which is why we have adopted the joint venture route."
The University of Hertfordshire is already committed to the trade sortie and Mr Purohit is offering companies and educational consultants the opportunity to them in the mission that is heavily subsidised by UK Trade & Investment.
