Builder convinced of Ipswich UFO

An Ipswich builder on his way to work was convinced he spotted and unidentified flying object overhead.

Marcus Normanton, 34, who has never believed in the existence of aliens, said he saw three strange objects in the sky and is now appealing to others who saw the same thing to come forward.

The builder was doing work on St Frances tower when he noticed the odd lights in the skies above.

He told the Evening Post: "It was about 6.40am-ish. I was watching a jet go over on its way into Stansted. I happened to look up again and I saw two small objects tracking to the right of it. They then cris-crossed and shot straight up into the air."

Mr Normanton, who said he was shocked and unnerved by the experience, added: "A second later I saw a larger object following them and this time I could hear the noise it made. It was like an orange glow colour and it was quite bright."

The assistant site manager at the tower says that he knows he is going to get "stick" from his fellow builders, but is convinced he did not imagine the sightings.
