Guildford training company First Aid Development offers a wide variety of courses open to all. They range from essential primary care to tailored programmes for schools and the workplace, as well as refresher courses for specific areas of first aid.

We booked a first aid course with Kim at First Aid Development for our small team of employees. Kim’s teaching style is very thorough, yet relaxed at the same time. Our team now have the confidence to deal with any situation where first aid skills may be needed. We had a great day learning invaluable skills and will not hesitate to recommend Kim and his courses in the future.

This delightful café in Gomshall near Guildford serves delicious home-cooked food seven days a week. Take your family, take your friends, take your dog (!) and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, pleasant surroundings and imaginative menu at Tillings Café, which includes breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas. Tillings Cornerhouse Café at Newlands Corner serves hot drinks and light bites for North Downs ramblers and anyone else who likes a coffee with a view of the Surrey Hills.

I went to Tilling’s Café yesterday with 14 of my girlfriends for a “Pre-Baby” Afternoon tea, and just want to say a BIG thank you to Jane as although she wasn’t there herself, she left us in the safe hands of her lovely sister and the rest of her team. I was really blown away with the VIP treatment we got, she really does have a lovely venue there and I am definitely going to try to use the café more to meet with clients and friends, I’d highly recommend it to the rest of the “Best's” for somewhere to use for meetings and parties. The Café itself is beautifully decorated with a true "Best" of British feel, the menu mirrored this; we all tucked into a fabulous variety of beautifully presented sandwiches, freshly made quiche, savoury tarts and crudités, our tea pots were constantly replenished and then came the homemade scones, cakes and a glass of Prosecco for all my friends to toast impending arrival. Jane even made sure I wasn't left out by ensuring I had a little mini bottle of bubbly to take away. Even my "doggy bag" was beautifully presented with all the left over cake and scones, including mini pots of jam and cream, which I am currently tucking into with my feet up on the sofa! I would recommend Tilling's Café to anyone and can't wait to go back with my Mummy friends and our babies. Thank you to all the team at Tilling's Café!! xxx
