If there is one thing that can drive anyone mad, it has to be IT, or should I say the lack or reliability of it at the most crucial of times. After hearing good reports about Nils, I got Nils around to give me a steer on the best route to upgrade my dated systems. As everyone does, you kind of look at the quote, pop it on the pile on your desk and never quite get round to it. This said and almost as if predicted, a few weeks later on a Thursday my PC fried its hard drive along with all the info that was contained on it! As I rely 100% on my PC to do my job, and with my PC now smoking its hard drive, who was the first person to be called! Yip Nils. Without a “I told you so”, he worked tirelessly through the weekend and managed to get my PC up and running by the Monday morning, now that is service for you! I very quickly acted on Nils’ advice and asked him to migrate me to the cloud as per his original recommendation. This move proved invaluable a few weeks later when my PC fried itself again for a second time! This time however, I just picked up my IPad and carried on working. Given the fact that my business is time sensitive, this was a priceless benefit, thanks Nils. However the story does not stop there. Whilst migrating my business to the cloud, unfortunately Nils encountered every conceivable technical issue and problem a PC, the hardware and software could throw at him! My case has been that complicated and thwart with problems, Nils came out with a priceless comment that almost made me cry with laughter: “Did you kill a black cat, with a broken mirror, under a ladder, on Friday 13?” It’s in situations like these that people show their true colours and I have been blown away with Nils when it came to the crunch. He has persevered through every challenge, working long and sometimes unsociable hours to rectify every problem, whilst keeping me updated with his progress.
