Hello
Halloween and Bonfire Night events are spread around in the next couple of weeks, so combined with half term it's worth checking them out - we have a summary of what's on in the area.
It's also time to be thinking about booking that Christmas get together - whether just 2 of you for dinner, or a minibus full of friends or colleagues. We'll give you a round up of what's on offer once November 5th is out of the way!

We have been spending the winter in the UK from France where we live most of our time. We had a Groupon coupon from our daughter and were delighted with the welcome and the food at The Plough. More people should do it!!

I understand the no return policy at the shoe shop, as it is an independent shop which can't just throw money away but its ok they sell lots of other bits as well if you have to return a pair of shoes previously brought. You get your money back but in the form of a credit note which is ok, you can use it to buy a purse for a christmas present or birthday present, your money is not wasted as you would be spending money with them still so you will still be able to support an independent business. Brilliant shop I have brought many presents and handbags from here, I would buy my shoes too, but they don't stock my size as my feet are too big!!
